When a fundamental change in the way of thinking about business occurs… a different way of doing business is needed. Owner Revolution Inc. evolved from Schafer Systems Inc. into a diversified company with a distinct vision for the future.

Schafer Systems Inc. was founded to produce lottery ticket dispensers and POP (point of purchase) displays for lotteries in 1986. Schafer Systems Inc. then expanded its capabilities in 1995 by adding rotational molded lottery Play Centers. This new capability allowed further diversification into the marine industry with a modular floating dock system and a two person bass boat marketed with the Connect-A-Dock Inc. brand name.

The company reorganized in 1999 to expand its capacities and began to offer custom manufacturing. Also in 1999 the company established an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) for the employee owners to participate and share in the success. Some of the custom services offered are: rotationally molding, engineering/design, research and development, rapid prototyping, fabrication parts and assembly, pad printing, and screen-printing. With the addition of custom manufacturing services available The Plastic Professionals Inc. Rotational Molding became a subsidiary company of Owner Revolution in 2003.

Owner Revolution Inc. has received numerous awards including the Iowa/Nebraska ESOP Association ESOP Company of the Year in 2003, the National ESOP Association Communications Excellence award in 2002, and the Psychologically Healthy Workplace award from the Iowa Psychological Association in 2001 and 2002.
